MYAR JOIN FORCES WITH WRÅD

From March 16 to 20, in collaboration with VIOFF - Vicenza Fuori Fiera, WRÅD, the innovative design studio co-founded by Matteo Ward, with an interactive exhibition will reveal the future of fashion for a sustainable development of the sector.


 
 

A path composed of Five Windows on the future of the textile industry where, through the exhibition of projects by highly innovative designers and brands, will be shown concrete answers to the main environmental and social macro-challenges that the fashion industry has to face today.

The exhibition includes the participation of the world-famous designer Patrick McDowell, nominated by Anna Wintour for the Today for Tomorrow Award, the revolutionary brand MYAR from Vicenza, the company Candiani creator of the first elastic and compostable denim, the innovative company Orange Fiber inventor of the first yarn made with orange peel waste and Progetto Quid, a model company that has made the recovery and transformation of textile waste a means for the reintegration of people in fragile conditions into society.

The designer Felipe Fiallo will open a window on one of the possible futures of the world of footwear with original models of biodegradable sneakers made with algae, mushrooms and salt crystals. A live performance on the opening day will show the process of creating the salt crystal shoe for all attendees. The exhibition also sees the participation of Fashion Revolution Italia, the world's first movement in ethical fashion.
