RUT00 - RUSSIAN T-SHIRT - 2000’s
Striped long-sleeved Russian t-shirt, cotton.
This traditional long-sleeved t-shirt was known as ‘Telnyashka’ in Russian and was given to the navy forces, starting from the 20th century.
After the Second World War, Captain Vasily Mergelov was appointed to modernize the uniforms of the airborne units so he decided to introduce the Telnyashkas.
This t-shirt could also be sleeveless.
It was designed in 3 different colors:
- Deep blue and white stripes, for the naval infantry - - Light blue and white stripes, for the airborne and the Spetsnaz (elite unit)
- Red and white stripes, for the National Guard
