FRENCH JACKET - 1980's
Brown field jacket
This was the French M47 field jacket developed after the Second World War. It drew its inspiration form the American field jacket M43 and was made with a 100% cotton fabric with 4 flapped pockets and a drawstring on the waist, to adjust it to the soldier's needs. The uniform was completed by a cargo trousers in the same nuance. The jacket was largely used up to the 1980's when it was replaced by the modern M1.
