ITALIAN BIKE TROUSERS - 1950 / 70's
Khaki biker work trousers 100% cotton with elastic band on side waist.
Around 1960s the Italian army introduced over trousers for bikers department.
These overalls were made with a strong khaki canvas with two big side pockets, waist adjustment buttons and suspenders.
They had a double use: in winter, they were used over the uniform, while in summer or warmer season they were used with nothing.
They were incredibly comfortable and across the years they became a keystone, because of huge changes and steps beyond in fabric research and style, providing even more safety to the bikers’ units.
A very similar British army model used during the Second World War inspired Italian biker trousers.
