GERMAN NAVY TROUSER - 1970’s
Blue trousers with double flap on front.
Polyester and wool.
These trousers were part of the uniform used by the German Navy after the Second World War and its style is very similar to the ones used by the Prussian Military of the '800, characterized by sartorial and minimal cuts.
The Matrose ('sailor') in service was given 2 different kind of uniform: a white suite for summer time and a blue suite for winter time.
The service blue trousers were called 'klaphose' and presented very interesting characteristics, such us a high waisted fit, straight wide leg, and a big frontal flap.
